Gas Fires FAQs

My fire is bleeping at me and/or will not turn on
Your remote control requires new batteries please also be aware some gas fires also have battery packs under the fires these also need changing when this has been done please refer to your user guide on how to re pair the remote to the fire if you do not have it then the user guide can be found online by entering the make model of the fire followed by user guide
Can I clean the glass on my gas fire?
Most Installation manuals will advise if the glass can be taken off by the user to clean however make sure you follow the user guide instructions and use glass cleaner specifically designed for fires or you may find other cleaners will damage the glass for those with anti-reflective glass a special cleaner must be used we carry both in stock in the showroom.
Do I have to service my gas fire every year?

Yes, gas fires can give off carbon monoxide so should be checked and serviced every year to ensure they remain safe when your fire is installed you must fill out your warranty and register your fire otherwise your warranty will be invalid but also if you do service the fire regularly and can provide certificates to prove its service history then the warranty will be invalid.
